    Not really. The game is fully translated with English dialog but Sony Japan (the publisher) hasn't even hinted at a Western release.

    Keep in mind that it's one of the most casual-unfriendly games I've played in years. Almost nothing is spelled out for the player. There's very little guided level progression. Virtually the entire game is open to you after you drop the first boss, even the really difficult stuff. Hell, taking a wrong turn in an otherwise easy level can drop you with little to no warning.

    Even so, success comes from skill and strategy, not hours of grinding. It's really rad.

    Actually I was thinking more along the lines of objectionable content, such as Jesus being sodomized by a Japanese schoolgirl dressed as a nun wearing a tentacle strapon while screaming "Fuck USA Yeah!!!" on top of an American flag.

  7. This game got really bad reviews from Famitsu, a magazine known for inflating the shit out of review scores. I don't think that's a good sign.

  8. Famitsu isn't always wrong but I'd say on average you could throw a dart blindfolded and hit a score about as accurate as famitsu.

  9. Well that is true, but they usually give scores that are way too high. I can't think of many games who got a really low famitsu score that were very good.

    Border Down, Under Defeat... I've seen a lot, actually, but I can't think of them all off hand.

    That's speaking relatively, of course. Famitsu clearly rates on a scale of 6-10.
