    Border Down, Under Defeat and most other shooters have the same score around 29ish. I don't think Famitsu reviewers even play shooters, I think they just give them a 29 score and move on.

    Cross Edge on the other hand got an atrociously low 23, a 5 from a company that rates on a 6-10 scale. I can't find any other even half decent RPGs with a score that low, they love to inflate RPG scores.

  6. LOL, so this came out today according to the PS Blog, i had no idea it was coming this soon.

    I just got infamous, so i dunno that im going to get this anytime soon, BUT i am kind of in fear that this is gonna pull a Valkyria Chornicles and be nowhere to be found.

    Anyone get it?

  10. Anyone else playing this? I'm reviewing it right now. Completely mixed bag IMO. Part of me loves it, part of me hates it. It's a micromanagement RPG with a transparent story and way too hard difficulty. I've basically spent the past week going nowhere and just leveling up so I can move forward.

    If you're a fan of really intricate combat systems, this has so many options for combos you'll crap your pants. With so many characters, there are a lot of different possibilities. You earn so many different points in combat it's insane (PP, TP, EP, EXP, etc.) and the game doesn't do a very good job of showing you how best to use all this business.

    Basically, stay away if you tend to skim RPGs, this is for those who spent 100s of hours on Disgaea and such. Not for the faint of heart... but man is the combat fun.
