What this penguin looking motherfucker said. This is an orgy on the eyes. So far, so good, DMC3 SE level with the potential to go beyond restrained so far only by my meager progress in the game. A must buy for any fan of action games. We've really seen some magnificent action games come out recently.
There's no need to buy the PS3 version. This was developed for the 360, so get it for its native system. J-360 if you can because fuck waiting until January.

This game has just been getting better and better and more and more awesome all the way up till Chapter 6... then FUCK. FUCKING ESCORT MISSION.

Well the escort mission wasn't too annoying on lower difficulties. Could be bad later though. There's also been a couple of sequences that have dragged a bit, but all in all this game has been fucking awesome so far. I believe I'm closing in on the end now, but there's still going to be an asston of things to do, there's secrets up the wazoo and obviously the higher difficulties to get through.
But yeah, this game definitely stomps the living shit out of DMC4.

This is what I was expecting from the next gen DMC, not DMC 4 (though the angel theme is somewhat comparable between the two).
Just finished my first playthrough. The bosses in this game were all seriously brilliant, fun as fuck to fight. I don't know if it's my game of the year, but it's right up there with Batman and Uncharted 2 as the best games I've played this year.
Now it's time to work on getting the metric asston of secrets.
