Prime 1 is the only game in the series that really holds up. I just tried Prime 3 recently and couldn't get into it at all. I didn't like the control one bit. I tried the different steeings but didn't really gel with any of them. I'm excited for Other M pretty much because it feels just like it did before Prime 1 came out. Everyone doubted it and freaked out about it, only to be surprised as fuck that it was so damn good.

That commercial is just awesome. Everything about it (music especially!). Its funny but you learn more about Samus' backstory in that 60 second commercial than 20 years worth of the metroid games. Not sure if thats a good or bad thing. I liked how all the metroid games were vauge.

The game itself doesnt look as good to me as it did when they announced it last year. Something about it seems off especially watching the gameplay vids - looks hollow. I hope im wrong. Another case of nintendo's best days being way behind them i guess. Super Metroid 4 eva.

I like Prime 3's controls a LOT, but I got stuck 3/4s of the way through the game and never finished it.

I actually found it to be the least confusing and easiest of the Prime games. The first hour or so was horrible like bVork mentioned and the game should have been a bit shorter but other than that it was great.

Yeah, I just got to a point where it seemed like there was nowhere else to go. I'll pick it up again and finish it when I'm done with SMT Nocturne.
