Ratchet & Clank collection for me. That's a series I've always thought I should have put more time into than I actually have. You run and shoot. I like to run and shoot. Why haven't I been able to get into Ratchet & Clank?

So I'll be traveling over 4th of July weekend and will probably pickup and old RPG off PSN to play during my vacation. Which one would you guys recommend based on what's available now?

I am leaning towards Grandia since I beat the second one on Dreamcast, but I hear the PS1 version is a bad port.

It's not like you have any other options if you want to play it in English, since the Saturn version of Grandia was never translated.

Personally, I'd recommend Legend of Mana.

I'd be weary about returning to some of those today, though I played PE1 a couple years ago and had a great time with it fwiw.

Considering your tastes FF8 and parasite eve 2 are by far the worst games on that list so you'll probably love them
