If I have to choose between Shooting Love's opinion and Cheebs' opinion of a movie I think I'd have to go with Shooting Love.

I just finished reading World War Z today. Now i'm excited about going to see this.
Gonna see this tomorrow...hope it's as awesome as Shooting Love described it as being!
Hey Shooting Love: Was it stupid?
I saw it, I liked it. Would recommend to a friend.
I went into this movie with almost zero expectations. I'm not sure if I had even seen a single trailer for it. My friends told me that Woody Harrelson and some "Michael Cera parody" were in it, and it sounded intriguing enough for me to tag along.
I liked it! I liked it a LOT, actually. This movie does a lot right. The direction is great! A great deal of moving camera shots keep the suspense high and the action scenes super fun. The editing is interesting, too. There's some breaking of the fourth wall with on-screen text that very nearly gets over-used, but knows when to stop, and when to show up for that little extra comedic nuance. The flashbacks, of which there are three I believe, are all short and surprisingly effective.
Woody Harrelson is absolutely priceless. It's worth seeing for him alone. Not only is he in remarkably good shape for his age, he is sharp as a razor in his comedic timing. "SNOWBALLS?!?! ... it's not the flavor of the coconut, it's the consistency." The flashback of him and his dog had me cackling. I started to cackle for the second flashback, too, because I thought he was making intricate snowman (cat?) pancakes for his dog, and then it turns out to be his son, a pretty wrenching turn of emotion, possibly the only real downer moment in the film.
And the look on his face when he finally encounters Twinkies is just ... one of the funniest images I've ever seen on film.
The special cameo was brilliant. After the movie, we were kind of like, "Yeah, it seemed like a BAD idea for Bill Murray to try and scare the other two. Oh wait. They just smoked a shitload of California's finest. Now it makes sense.
I enjoyed this movie's restraint. The human cast list is very small. The runtime is something like 80 minutes, which feels PERFECT - they easily could have added more zombie killing filler, but as it is, it flows brilliantly, never lingering on one concept too long.
And I'm so pleased that they didn't resort to shitty computer generated effects. For anything. As best I can tell, all of the zombies are 100% humans in make-up and the gore is all the more effective for it. The abundance of super slow motion shots also makes me happy.
Really, I can only think of three "zomedies": this, Shaun, and Return of the Living Dead. I can't say how this will hold up on repeat views, but my initial impressions are that it stands strong enough to join the ranks of the other two. It's consistently surprising, very funny, and very well made.
You should check it out!
Toupee pretty much summed up my thoughts on the movie. Its a fun flick to see with friends.
