So was there ever any Verdict on this? I haven't played the first one, but I'm trucking through the second one now, though I just ran into the two main characters from the first one who are married. How cute.

Anyways I'm kinda digging it, though the main three characters are by far the least interesting.

Not that recently. My replacing of physical copies was complete by then. I'm pretty sure I don't have anything on Steam that can be legally downloaded for free.

This thread reminded me about the Valkyria Chronicles artbook preorder. They canceled it and didn't credit my giftcard points back to me.

Hey Yoshi it's $20 new now, so it's not that expensive. But I'm really enjoying the game, all the characters are cliche as fuck but I can enjoy it none the less. And the gameplay is a lot of fun, I definitely need to play the original one day.

Is it $20 on PSN? Because there's no way I'm buying UMDs that won't work on the Vita in five months.
