Not that it really means much, but even if the Bengals lose against the Vikings and Chargers, but win against the Chiefs and Jets, they are pretty much in for the playoffs, correct?
I know if Baltimore loses to the Lions (lol, doubtful) they clinch a playoff spot, but should Baltimore win, what would it come down to to solidify at least a wild card spot? For Baltimore to lose against the Bears?
I'm pretty sure the Bengals just have to win one more game to clinch a a wild card spot (and they play KC so they'll get that).

The Bengals have a 2 game lead and the head-to-head tie breaker against Baltimore, so that is essentially a 2.5 game lead. With 4 to to play, they need a combination of three wins and Baltimore losses to clinch the division. I wouldn't even worry about the Wild Card. I'd turn it around a look at what it takes to beat SD to get a bye instead.
Hmm ok, that makes more sense to me. Half the time the if x wins and y loses unless z ties and all that bullshit just gets confusing.
Thanks for the clarifications.
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/standin...race/scenariosCincinnati can clinch the AFC North Division with:
- a win (vs. Minnesota) OR
- a tie and a Baltimore loss or tie (vs. Detroit) OR
- a Baltimore loss
Also, Yahoo Sports playoff scenario generator. Check it out, it's cool.
Ah, so it's even easier than I thought, though I am not sure that makes sense.
CIN is three games up, not two. That is why.
