lrn2boycott or stop pontificating on how we're all ruining gaming by buying DS games.
Since the iPhone is at least as powerful as the Wii, your analogy is terrible. But kudos for trying to be clever.

  2. Contra 4's still pretty sweet.

Who said anything about power? And what does the Wii have to do with anything? You have very strange ways of defending your flimsy principles, sir!

Maybe the DS doesnt have the horsepower to choke out cutting-edge releases like Wolfenstein 3D, but it gets the job done! How powerful does your platform of choice have to be when two of the three games you listed are built off of pre-1995 technology?

Just Wolfenstein 3d is built on pre-1995 technology, but thanks for playing!

  5. Pre-pre-1995 technology, then? I guess it doesn't look quite as good as Doom.

    And you're welcome!

Doom Resurrection is based off of D3 assets.

If Yoshi needs a shotgun to kill a fly, that's fine. I just think he trades in his right to criticize everyone and shove his weird videogame dogma down our throats for buying portable, casual or less-than-cutting-edge games when he buys Wolfenstein 3D for iPhone.

And hey, I hauled Dear Scott, Dearest Zelda! It's pretty interesting to read F. Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald's correspondence to eachother from "Hey, you're pretty cute and I'm working on a couple books," to "Hey, we're the cynosure of the '20s!" to "I'm drunk/crazy," to "Can I borrow $5?" Highly recommended to fans of the Fitzgeralds and to those who like to observe great minds communicating and imploding!

  9. Ah. Err.

    I hope it's fun, anyway.

To its benefit, it looks SLIGHTLY BETTER than that Metroid FPS for DS. And it costs forty nickles or whatever. So happy day.
