In Canada at least, EB Games has a deal goin on. In anticipation of all the Beatles shit they are getting (I'm guessing) they gotta clear out the Rock Band 2 kits. So the deal is trade in 4 games, which are each worth at least 8 bucks in trade to them, and you walk away with a Rock Band 2 kit.

Note the games I traded in were worth more than 8 bucks, so I guess you could say I did it wrong, but I confirmed it with the guy that the deal does work.

that deal applies to more than just RB stuff, you can trade in 4 games and walk out with a free barebones refurb 360 (no hdd or anything), or get $100 off a ps3, or trade in 2 and get a slim ps2, etc etc etc (they take the 4 trade-ins and ramp them up to $25 each, which gets you $100 TIV)

Case Logic SNMB-15F Canvas Messenger Bag (Dark Gray), 24.99 @ Amazon. I've been keen to pick up a messenger bag, and also could have used something in which to carry the laptop if I needed to, so this seemed perfect and thus jumped on it when I saw it as a $25 Gold Box deal. And I'm glad I did, I like it even more than I thought I would.



The Last Remnant and Star Ocean: The Last Hope, $19.97 each @ Kmart. Read at CAG that these two were on clearance, fortunately found both at the local store. Very cool.

I also have two Chris Ware books that will hopefully arrive late next week or thereabouts, looking forward to those.
