So they modded it and painted it for only 67 all together? That sounds like a great price!

Today, I finally got my Cube back from ColorConsoles.com. I must say that I'm really satisfied with the job they did. It took a little longer then the 10-15 days they had in their FAQ, but after seeing it it was worth the extra week. The mod switch looks very professional and feels very solid. The Cube is a little sticky and stinky from the paint, but that's my only real problem, and one I can easily deal with when I'm playing Sunshine a month early on my pimpin' little Cube. I paid 67 total for everything, and I got my money's worth. I highly recommend the service to anyone curious about it. Here it is, in all it's glory. Any other questions I'll be happy to answer.

A is for action
that new LED looks tight....
I'm uneasy about a company just "painting" my console.
Please, explain more about the paint. Is it like permanent like diamond coating, or is it just a layer of paint over the rest?
ALso, how "scratch" resistant is the paint? I wouldn't want my paint to scratch and unveil the black plastic inside...
More info please.
PS: I checked out the site, they aren't taking more orders for a while anyway...
you know master, you could just send theman email....

It looks pretty nice.... but I don't really like the idea of painting a console and it seems awfully expensive to me.....
Why not shells though? Are there shells available for Gamecube yet? And if not, is there a reason? There were plenty available for Dreamcast and some of them looked pretty smart.
I've been thinking about sending nmine to them, but at the time they were not taking orders. And with Sunshine hitting pretty soon, I'd never be able to get it back in time. Looks nice though. Think I'll poke around their site again. Thanks for the pics and impressions.
