Ok, on the whole blind thing: he looked ppl in the eye, didn't need to know when to duck for cover, and never had a hint of the blind man's "1000yd stare." I say he became blind after losing his glasses.

Good movie and a nicely different take on post-apoc genre.

I saw this movie a week or so ago. I think Mila Kunis is very attractive, but I think she's a largely terrible actress. She sucked in Max Payne, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt because Max Payne sucked as a whole. She sucks in this movie now, and this is a pretty good movie. Why is she trying to be a tough Michelle Rodreguez-esque badgirl action star? She's totally unconvincing. I wish she would stick to comedies. I don't really think she's that funny, but at least she doesn't seem to throw off the whole look and feel of the movie. In the Book of Eli, the last couple scenes with her were just awful.
