This might be a dumb question, but is Avatar ONLY in 3D? Or are they gonna release it in theaters in good ol' 2D as well. 3D gives me a headache, and I don't like the glasses, and and I lose the focal point of the scene, and I'm old and hrmph I don't like new things. I hope they release a black and white 4x3 print of the movie as well.

You can see it in normal.

You can see it in iMAX too, but some theaters will show it in REAL3D. Almost everyone who saw it in 3D and has the same problem you have, Seik. Have not had a problem with it. The Ghosting effect is still there, but not as noticable after the first 30 minutes.

Reviews are shaping up really good for this. I'm actually feeling pretty optimistic. I know it's kind of a kids' action movie, but if it's a good one I can deal with that.

Ebert loved it. I'm starting to get interested, but I'll wait for a couple more opinions.

I will never understand the need to put your viewing habits on the opinion of someone else.

I would see it no matter if the critic's word is positive or negative. I like to judge the films by myself. Yeah, I am strange like that.

I've stuck to my guns. I thought this movie would not disappoint. So, far the people who have seen it say the same thing.
