I really didn't like the first LP, so I have no interest in this game prior to trying out the co-op demo last night.... and if the whole game is like the demo, then I am in.

Chux, Mardin, Mykes and I took about 5 tries to take down this giant worm (with 6 legs), and it was awesome. Some awesome moments include:

• Mardin killing himself as soon as the level loads
• Shooting rockets into its mouth, which didn't seem to do much other than pissing it off
• Chux and I grappling hooked our way on top of the worm
• Chux jumped off before it dived back underwater, while I didn't and got squashed
• Try to crawl our way into the worm through its butthole
• Got swallowed up by the worm, went inside to shoot the core (with spider creatures spawning all over the place)
• After the core, the worm launched us out of its butt like yesterday's pizza

This game is a blast! More fun than Gears in co-op. The graphics look really good too, so if you haven't tried the demo, do it now.

When we realized we could shoot the grappling hook into the beastie's mouth, it was ON.

Great game! Way better than the first.

Yeah, demo was pretty awesome. It's sort of like if Monster Hunter was on a system with competent online and good graphics.

Check out the trailers that have been released if you didn't pay attention to them first time around, the environments are way more varied than the first game.

The game was a lot of fun once we figured the shit out.

I wish there is a way to reload the mechs, I suppose we have to drag that slow ass mech across the map to pickup a new gat gun.

Yes this game is going to be awesome. Any game with 4 player co-op, especially on this scale, is a win. And the co-op is only half of the equation. LP didnt have too bad a multiplayer. I only wish we could have a played a bit of a normal level in the demo rather than just jumping into a boss fight.

Did you try the 3 seater mech with 6 guns. That tears shit up. Definitely excited. When does this come out?
