Alright, when I wa a kid my family took some trips to Colorado to go skiing. At the ski lodge we were at, there was an arcade cab. And that arcade cab was....
OK, I really liked this game alot. It didnt alter my life or anything, but it was damn good fun. I was wondering if there was any love for it on these boards, and I was also wondering how well the SNES port of it was. I've been thinking about getting an arcade cab, and this miht be my first stop along that path.
Also, whats your favorite helper? I always stuck with the archer chick till I found a ninja. The ninja couldnt be stopped I tell ya!
I always thought Magic Sword was a nifty lil game at the time when it came out... I don't remember getting particularly far in the game but it didn't stop me from playing it just about every time I saw the machine in an arcade or such.
And the SNES version of this sucks. Totally different game.
JefmcC has this board, he brought it over one day and we played it on my cabinet. I like this game, sidescrolling adventure game... I like King of the Dragons a bit better though, more like Capcom's Dungeons & Dragons in terms of play
This is a cool game. I used to play it at the 7-11 near my high school. I once got to the last boss but ran out of quarters. My favorite partners were the bad ass ninja, and the dragon-man.
Had the Super Famicom port, pretty good, but not as enjoyable as the real deal.
I have this game for the SNES but have never even seen the arcade version in person. I think it's a cool game, but not one of my all time favorite Capcom games, Capcom being my all-time favorite game developer/publisher.
The ninja does kick some ass, but when I need defense in a level I'm not so familiar with, I'd go for that magician man.
