Whe it drops in price, I'll pick it up. I loved the first one.
I also decided to skip over Dead Space for now and play the new GTA. I'm into the Lost and Damned. Pretty fun so far.
If you liked the original, you'll enjoy the 3rd. There are more endings, the story is handled better overall, and there's just more stuff to do. My only complaints are the repetitive, though optional, jobs, and it going to the score screen every time you die, having to hit through several screens before you can reload, though that does make me more careful not to die.

Red Faction: Guerrilla (PC)
It took 'em long enough but this series finally has the level of environmental manipulation the original was hyped to have but never did. It may be generic looking, and I'm sure it will get surpassed by similar stuff in the near future, but for now the emergent building destruction situations are ahead of most games, and a lot of fun.
NHL 10 (360)
I'm not used to analog stick-based shots yet but I'm impressed with this.
Zaku (Lynx)
I already talked about it in the main thread. Good times.
Borderlands (360)
Played a couple hours splitscreen co-op. Cool game but I can picture it getting a little repetitive. I'll buy the PC version when it drops in price.
Donkey Kong Jr. (CV)
Still a great time. I always liked the longer jumping in this port more than the arcade original.
Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood (360)
Feels like a Call of Duty game set in US Civil War era. It seems like a well made game but there's way too much competition with even better FPS nowadays so I doubt I'll bother with it.
Lost: Via Domus (PC)
I recently finished watching season 4 of Lost, and borrowed the game out of curiosity. Not surprisingly, it doesn't compare to the show since the acting and writing aren't in the same league but it's actually not a horrible game so far as they at least tried to weave a side-story and put some puzzles in there. I'm glad I didn't spend money on it, though.
The Ballad for Gay Tony
Really good so far. Some great new characters and Rockstar finally brought back the creativity to the missions. It really shows off what the Rage engine can do when you are riding on the top of a subway car shooting down pursuing helicopters with an automatic shotgun full of explosive shells.
The pandemonium you can make is insane. And it looks like they are going to be adding in competitive Base Jumping multiplayer sometime "soon". It looks like a riot.
