That said, I'm very excited about this. From the little bit that they showed in the trailer, it looks like it's what a Sonic game should be and the claim that they're focusing on classic Genesis Sonic gameplay has me excited. Hopefully this does for Sonic what the New Super Mario Bros series did for Mario.
I also think it's interestng that the official site has a fourth platform pegged, but they haven't revealed which platform that is yet.
Here's to hoping the motion controls don't fuck up anything or can at least be turned off.
