Something that's annoying me, when you turn the Zune off, it doesn't bookmark where you are in audio files. When you turn it back on, it brings you to the home screen. Huge pain in the ass for podcasts or any long audio files you have.

I can't find a way to manually make bookmarks either.

I've had the Zen Clit 40gb for the past five years. I've dropped it on pavement more times than I can count and only now is it starting to flake out on me. Have you noticed a difference in sound quality (good or bad) between your old Creative player and the Zen HD? The Zen Touch is the best sounding mp3 player I've ever heard.

I think the Zune sounds better, but it's been a long time since I've had the Zen.

My Creative Zen Clit is going on 5 years old and the hard drive is starting to click and stutter, which means it's new mp3 player time.

I'm almost positive that when my Zen Clit finally dies I will be in the market for another Zen Clit.

Great sound. Lots of storage. Plays a nice selection of useful formats. Sick battery life. Maybe I should scour the used market now instead of later and just have it sit there as a backup.

Yeah, being fair, do I NEED a lot of that stuff on the go? No. But when you take all of the stuff already built in, and then start adding on additional things like that, it builds value very quickly. For me, being able to have a decent Japanese/English dictionary alone is reason enough to have a device like this. All is takes are one or two good apps to really make the thing indispensable, and then the rest is gravy. Sure, I don't need to manage my Netflix queue on the go; but, maybe I'm somewhere, see a movie that I want to get from Netflix, and I can do it right there and then so I won't forget.

I haven't really downloaded a lot of stuff yet, so that was just a smaller sampling of what you could do with one. There are a countless number of apps out there, covering a wide range of things. You might say you don't need Facebook or Twitter or Netflix or whatever on the go, but it isn't just about stuff like that. It also isn't just about being able to do everything on the go - it's also about having one device that can now do a whole lot of functions whenever you need them. It's getting closer to the days of having that one device in your pocket that can do almost any function you need it to do, an idea that I love. Maybe for you, that isn't a big deal, but for me it's an awesome advancement in technology.

I use facebook/twitter every now and then, listen to pandora/aol/xm in my car, and use my phone from one device. Granted you won't be able to use pandora on the road due to no wifi but eh, win some lose some. Also google maps, omg look at that blue dot go!
