It's not just the Rangers coming up either, Philly is bouncing the fuck back. Finally. You look at all that talent and then look at the record and just shake your head all the way down the roster, until you get to the goalies anyway. But that's not a new story for Philly.

I grabbed Emery and started him tonight instead of Fleury.... Then at the last minute Emery is playing a game in the AHL and I miss out on a 4-1 win.
Also Hao, yeah someone bailed and I've been keeping the team afloat for the last month. The record is still bad, but the team is doable. PM me yer email if yer interested.

Not at all. It puts more pressure on you if you have injuries. Can your team do ok while keeping the injured player or do you have to drop him and get someone else in order to stay competitive. There's more risk/reward involved.
For instance, I had a choice to either keep Prospal while he got his knee operated on and take the risk of him coming back and not being the same player, or I could drop him and get someone else. Being in a head to head atmosphere (with cash involved) you can't really afford to lose any production from you slots, so I got someone else. It makes things interesting.
No, your commissioner is an idiot. That's an awful and unrealistic way to set up a league. Of course, any bozo who chooses weekly match ups for baseball/basketball/hockey isn't likely to get everything else right.

I don't know how this half game is going to work in fantasy, as the other half of the game simply didn't show up in the stats, but I'm keeping the guys benched to save my atoi
