I played through the first world with my wife. They should have called it Super Mario Brothers 3-2. This is not a bad thing in my eyes. I haven't reached the "Hard as Contra" parts, but playing 2 players keeps you on your toes.

Is it any good as a single-player game? I haven't followed it at all.

It's probably better as a single player game because you don't have to worry about some ass hole accidentally jumping off of you, or throwing a shell etc.

I'd probably commit a hate crime if I tried to play it 4-Players.

Some other thoughts. I hate the shoehorned waggle horse shit that was put into the game.

Hold 1+Waggle to pick up things.
Waggle to Fly.
Why not at least give the option to use the Classic jams and play it like a SNES Mario.
