  2. Neo, what's a good place to import Giana Sisters from? The japanese places don't seem to carry it.
    No gnus is good gnus.

  3. You need to go to that Brit games piracy site, Pip Pip Cheerio.

Not sure. I got it from an individual, not a store. cdwow.com carries it but I have never bought from there.

Giana Sisters DS is better than NSMB. The graphics are far better (beautiful 2D instead of lifeless 3D) and the levels, while generally shorter, tend to be more interesting thanks to unique gimmicks that don't appear more than once. The game is still fairly easy compared to platformers from the 16-bit era and earlier, but it's still quite satisfying.

If you're interested in importing, try either Amazon.de (if you're American, because they don't ship to Canada because they're retarded) or CDWow.com

No way, the game is way too easy. It made Super Princess Peach seem hard.

  9. I played through the first world and change of Giana Sisters DS and it was just insipidly easy, made me never want to touch it again. I'm sure it ramps up a bit eventually, but there's a world of difference between letting the player learn the ropes and outright treating the player like an idiot, and GSDS fell on the wrong side. If it didn't have a retro pedigree, it would be as well-explored and well-regarded by gamers as The Chase: Felix Meets Felicity.

  10. wait, Giana is easier than NSMB?

That game treated me like an idiot.
