The max is 10. I frankly forgot about the DC, and I saved people from making stupid portable picks intentionally. If you'd seriously pick a DS over 8 of the systems listed, you're fucking retarded.

Well, if we're saying it's okay to emulate shit, then half of the options are redundant. I'd definitely take a DS. I'm mostly going for variety here... there are a lot of DS games that I like and I wouldn't cry about not having a 360 or PS3 if I had a decent computer with me.

PC is the obvious no-brainer, even if we discount emulation.

But I'm also packing a SNES and a Genesis, because they're the only ones that I know will still keep working long after my PC hard drive is dead and my Xbox has RROD'd.
