Right? I swear they made all 4 of them act like Michaelangelo. I know they had goofy gadgets but most of the time Raph was smart-ass business mode, Leo led, Don made dumb shit and Mike was just PIZZA PIZZA PIZZA.

The Nostalgia Critic just reviewed this one and claimed it was awesome. So I had to see it.

It was awesome. The interaction of old and new was perfect...and I've never even seen the new turtles before.

Animation was below what you get in a standard feature film, but way better than the original series. Voices sadly weren't original, but worked very well. Jokes almost always worked (Robots? Exploding robots!). I couldn't stop smiling at the ultimate downfall of the BigBad. Action was choreographed better than the old TV show. One-liners and knee-slappers were ripped straight from the 80's. And OG Shredder and Krang were almost adorable. <3
