I just got done with Borderlands and finally had the chance to put some time into this today, and really...
Holy shit @ this game!
It's even better than I expected. The action is visceral. The controls are really responsive. The environments are great. The sense of adventure is epic and excellent. It really is the best parts of other games brought together in one package.
The only thing that bugs me is the camera control setting doesn't save for some whatever reason (all the other settings are saved), so you have to reconfigure it whenever you load up your game.
It's really not that good Nash.
It's an average Zelda clone. It's no Beyond Good & Evil, that's for sure.

I gave Beyond Good & Evil a shot because you guys talk about how great it is, but it's still sitting on my shelf unfinished. Couldn't really get into it. Plus, the game has the x-axis inverted and doesn't have an option for no inversion. What the fuck.Originally Posted by bbobb

The Darkest Soul
Beat this earlier this week, and loved it. One of the better games I played in last few years for sure. Not perfect, as control layout for aiming/shooting was ass, screen tearing was annoying, but otherwise, excellent effort. Bring on the sequel.

Some of the button combos were a bit odd for sure but it didn't really taint the experience. I favor this genre of games so I might be biased here but I have to agree, it is easily one of the best games I've played in a few years for sure.
