What? Are you sure they aren't just clips? FX and Hulu have been having some drama as of late. I checked for Louie on there about three weeks ago and they didn't have shit.

EDIT: Awesome. They even put Rescue Me back on their site. I'm sure they'll just up the number of commercials aired during each show but I'm glad it's back.

Well it's super, super low budget. Louie does it all himself without FX's involvement for a budget that is literally less than the average basic cable reality show.

He said he took the offer over 7-figure/episode network sitcom offers because they would A) give him full executive control of the show with no interference or input and B) let him do it in New York so he could be with his daughters.

So I think as long as it's pulling some ratings and getting good buzz, they'll want to keep it around. I have a feeling when it ends it'll be because Louie has other things to do, since the show is a massive time commitment for him.

  3. I don't get it I guess, I don't find Louie C.K. funny. Don't know anyone irl that does. Listen to him say something dirty and/or inappropriate! This show is just as unfunny as Lucky Louie. I look forward to his next show 'Lou' on Spike in 2012.

  4. I couldn't really get into Lucky Louie for some reason but this show is great. It's full of shitty circumstances people find themselves in at times but it also has that WTF factor going on at the same time. The scene with Ricky Gervais as the doctor giving him a physical had me almost pissing myself.

  5. This is my new Best Show on TV That Isn't Breaking Bad. I mean, this week's wasn't even very funny but still goddamn amazing. I'm really, really impressed with the show.

Yeah, I thought the same thing. There weren't nearly as many punchlines, but the episode still worked.

The Mother episode is still the greatest.

Yeah, I dig this show. I've only seen the first 3 or 4 episodes though.

  8. I was laughing hysterically when "old man" Louie was talking to "boy" Louie during the credit roll. The look on the kid's face coupled with things like "this is a nightmare" had me rolling. I love this show.

  9. Louie actually impressed me with his acting in the latest episode. This show is brutal.

  10. It's cute how the dude responsible for Robobobo is lecturing on how to be funny.

This show's a bit too crass for me at times, but still quite good. Netflix has it up for streaming.
