I don't think I've sat down with an FPS for like what 5 hours like we did last night in a LONG time.
It was a blast last night playing with Ramon, then Chux, then Chao and finally Bacon and Scudnick. I fucking love Headhunter. Being the third or fourth guy into a fracas with a grenade and watching a dozen skulls go airborne never got old.

This is definitely got that "Halo 2" feeling of an addictive awesome multiplayer game.
What do you get Technician for anyway?
How do you use the Guard's ability?

All abilities are left bumper as default. You have to hold it down to stay locked. Just above the radar is the energy level (it' an image of the armor ability with a blue circle that depletes when you use it, so you can't sprint/cloak etc forever). At the end of the Lockdown is when the EMP blast goes off iirc. Pretty sure you can't activate the EMP whenever you want.
I know how to do it I just don't know what the Guard does.

The impact of the grenades on armor does the tiniest bit of damage, but if somebody has the smallest sliver of health...

Oh. It's like Ultra Shield Defense, very situational to use. Vehicles even wreck if they try to run you over. I haven't been able to use it for shit yet, whenever I would come out I'd get murdered. I found it kinda easy to park a grenade at a persons feet to go off just as they stand up. It could be real useful in hectic group fights where the EMP can swing you the advantage. The explosion seems pretty close range.
Edit: Holy shit I had no idea it throws rockets back, that is awesome!
