Thread: Halo: Reach

  1. They all count, I'm pretty sure.

In addition to achievements, there are challenges that change every day. I got an achievement for completing all of yesterdays. It was like 'Two Double Kills in a Single Match' '30 Assists' and '150 Multiplayer Kills'

I don't want to get single player achievements then get stuck playing unfun shit mp because the games with friends don't count for shit. I hate that.

Dave is right, there are no specific HAY DO THIS IN A RANKED MATCH, they're all HAY DO THIS IN MATCHMAKING (w/yourfriendsdooooood).

Sounds like you're getting fucked somehow, as anytime the checkpoint words appear it should save your location and shit right there. I'd help you blow through it but I'm still stuck with having my 360 either with internet or hooked up to a TV. Maybe in like a week or so, I got someone that's gonna help me out on buying a new bulb for my TV.

And then I'll buy Reach and ditch you.

  4. Was fun playing with Chux and crew last night. Meeting ThePartyShark was definitely a highlight.

Anyway, played some matches last night. Fumbly, floaty fun. Campaign was kinda boring from the little coop I played, but Halo's campaigns honestly might be better in single player anyway.
I bought Reach today and was playing with the Forge. Amazing. I was working on a level with 300% jumping power, booster packs & rocket launchers only and littered with launch platforms.

  9. Played some Legendary co-op today, and the campaign flows a lot better than it does in single-player. The "defend position" sequences go by a lot quicker when your squad mates are actually effective.

The helicopter turret sequences are awful on Legendary, though. I think we replayed some of those sequences like 20 times. You can't do anything to evade fire, so unless you're near-perfect with your shots, you're going down.

  10. Party Shark is on my friends list now, but ROBOBALBOA still hasn't accepted.
