A Serious Man snubbed for everything except the "let 'em all in now" Best Picture? That's too bad, the lead actor (I forget his name) deserved some attention for that. I really don't like this 10 nominations thing in that category, but look at us talking about it like a bunch of suckers.
I really want to see Mark Boal win for Best Original Screenplay and Christopher Waltz get Supporting Actor, but I'm not that invested in the rest. Gabourey Sidibe winning Best Actress would be neat, and I'll be surprised if Mo'Nique doesn't win best supporting, as weird as it is to say that.
It was a fairly weak year for movies overall though. Still haven't seen Up in the Air or Blind Side, but I don't think I really want to. I also haven't seen any of the foreign nominees this year, so I should probably get on that.
Also: Is this the first time we've had an ex husband and wife going against each other? Has to be right? That's kind of neat.
