So yea, how about naming some movies that are actual contenders to being the best movie(s) of all time?

I don't have a greatest I can name, but my recent favorite is Ghost World. All the characters are believable, realistic, and actually TALK like real people(not like some Dawson's Creek/SAT bullshit). It portrays teen angst very well, and Daniel Clowes(director and original creator) knows the human psyche like the back of his hand. I've been called the male version of Enid by a couple of my friends.
I'm not one to argue.

Heh, I told a friend who hasn't seen Ghost World that Enid is just me with tits. Best movies? Taxi Driver, Seven Samurai, Lawrence of Arabia, Dr. Zhivago, Fellowship of the Ring (FotR made me cry..alot), Citizen Kane, Pulp Fiction, Enter the Dragon, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Treasure of the Sierra Madre...

Titanic=most overrated movie ever

The fact that this movie won Best Picture is frightening, people of future generations are going to think it was quite a shitty year for movies.

Best movie candidates? Well, Fight Club was excellent, as was Akira, Itoo many movies out there to avtually choose a "best" though.
