How is the An Turas Mor? The west coast just got the Laddie 10 last week, but still no An Turas Mor. I like the laddie 10 a lot, but I'm a peat head, so I really want that one.

I got it for the restaurant.

Not a scotch drinker so I can't really contrast and compare. It tastes like fire and smoke. The other just tastes like fire. Low Gap smells delightful, but tastes like a lower level fire.

Here's some suggestions if you're interested. Next time you feel like Maker's try a W.L. Weller 12 instead (or the Weller Antique if there's no 12yo). Rittenhouse Rye Bottled in Bond is a great alternative to Sazerac. Both of those bottles are about $20-$25.

I have begun my appreciation for Scotch, but I will keep these recommendations open for next time I'm looking for a bottle.

What is a quality low alcohol beer that isn't faro? Tart would be nice, but not necessary.

I tasted this right out of the fermentation tank. It's very nice - if hard to locate.

Anybody here enjoy the occasional Rusty Nail? That's my go-to drink for when I really need to decompress. It's a harsh beverage, but nothing else gets me so mellow.

Also, for all you Dogfish Head, erm, heads... did any of you ever see their short-lived reality show Brew Masters? I forget what channel it was on, but that spit beer episode was seriously gnarly. It was hard to watch. I've had their 60 Minute on tap before, though, and that shit was tasty.
