I picked up a bottle of Old Rasputin XII tonight that is so fancy I am almost scared to open it. also a Harviestoun Ola Dubh 30 from 2007 that screams for a special occasion. Maybe when I quit my fucking job.
The guy that owns Molly Macpherson's in Savannah gave me a nice old bottle of Ola Dubh that I've been saving as well. Great stuff. I have to say Curieaux>>>Confluence.
Tonight I am all about the Victory Storm King Imperial Stout. Really rich, malty brew with a lot of complexity. Probably my favorite stout, aided by the fact that I haven't had it in quite some time (Just started driving for the first time in 8 years this week so now good beer is not such a rare treat).
Also caved to TNL peer pressure and got some Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA, which is a very good IPA, but I'm still not that into IPAs.
No compelling need, really, I live in a city. I got a minor ticket when I was like 21 and my insurance went up to like $2600 a year, so I just gave up on it. I work from home and I'm a short walk to downtown/train, so it didn't matter. Now my grandparents are getting old so I want to be able to drive them around and help out, and the insurance is down to like $700 a year, so hence new vehicle.

I got a Weyerbacher Quad to contrast/compare with my favorite Quadruppel Avery Reverend. The Weyerbacher is shit in comparison. Though I love many of their beers.
