Well, a few months ago I re-played SotN, and got the Mourneblade which I completely missed the previous times through. God that thing kicks ass.
There are those times where you just forget that you own certain games...
A friend of mine was playing SotN and commented,"Let's play one of those shooters you always talk about."
Of course I couldn't turn down this (obvious) challenge.
He didn't want to play anything Japanese, or too complex, so I chose Strikers 1945 for the PS.
I haven't played this game in a long time.
I should have never stopped playing this game.
It wasn't so much that I was raping my friends score, but the "oohs" and "ahhs" that he kept making.
I ended up dying on the fourth stage (pretty bad, I know.), but had some of the most fun with a videogame in a long time.
Please share your stories of "Comin' back home..."
Boo, Hiss.
Fired up Mars Matrix not too long ago, and found it every big as excellent as when I left it.
Like getting back on a bicycle.
Only I sucked at my bike.

Got back into Star Fox, which I haven't played in years. Incredible game, the graphics remain amazing, and the game still FEELS right. After a few weeks of playing nothing but Street Fighter, I put on Mark of the Wolves today. OMG did it feel like I was playing underwater. The game felt incredibly slugish. I would play Alpha 3 and Double Impact on the low turbo settings, and it felt fine. When I went back to MOTW I couldn't beleive it, but I got back into it eventually.

After reading this interesting website, I was inspired to play Sonic 2 again.
It brought back a lot of good memories.
*sniff*
I uh. . . pulled out SLAM DUNK again.
got 0/20 rebounds in the beginning of the game, just as I had before.
like attempting to get back on a bicycle, when you never learned how.
on that note, what are the best button tapping techniques? track and field style, and all that. as a marker for my skill, I can only drink 5 cups of pop in the pop drinking contest at the fair in Chrono Trigger. I saved Meryl in the MGS, but I have no idea how.
It perplexes me when people say things like this. You know most characters can run in this game, right? That added with rolling when you hit the ground = no time spent lying down, and tons of time right on top of your opponent.Originally posted by Green

Especially compared to Alpha, where the only real means of getting near your opponent is jumping at them, or SF3 where you spend 30 seconds lying on the ground even if you do the tech roll thing. Now that's a slow game. Motw is blazingly fast if you make use of the tools at your disposal.

I just got the U.S. version of Ridge Racer 4, which I hadn't played much in years. I remember always struggling in the last 4 tracks of the grand prix, but I got 1st in every race without a hassle. Either I really sucked or the difficulty was toned down. But, what a blast playing this game is again, I think I'll go for as many cars as I can. And what a great soundtrack.
are you sure?? I find SF3rd Strike faster. Back to topic I’m playing right now SA2 but just for the chaos thx to the faq I finally know how to make a shadow chaos without all the crap animal parts on the chaos[i]Originally posted by StriderKyo
