  2. Lauren Bacall.
I'm not a devious man by nature... but when you're unarmed, your tactics might gonna be downright Archimedean.

  3. The rule of 3 demands one more.

  4. Maybe James Garmer was the first.

  5. I think the best part of robin williams humor was always that he seemed just on the verge of depression. I'm not sure why, but that always added so much sincerity to me that many of the other high energy wacky comedians seem to lack.

This is the first person who has died whom I think everyone (am I missing someone) really liked. Bummer.

    Check out Mr. Businessman
He bought some wild, wild life
On the way to the stock exchange
He got some wild, wild life

  6. The most amazing thing about him is that with all the people he had met, no one has said one thing remotely negative about him. On the contrary, so many have amazing stories about his humanity and generosity.

I don't care for too many stars and their deaths mean nothing (to me). But somehow, I spend a good part of today reading his tributes and remembering his movies.

There sure are a ton of his movies out in the Black Waters tonight.

Also, if you can always find the funny in things, you can also find all the gray. If you're bipolar, well, thats not a good mix.

There was a lot of talk a long time ago about him being hated by at least a few comics for stealing material all the time. Supposedly he would sit under the stage and copy down material, and (more likely a joke than real) was one theater turning on a light to signal to the comic onstage that Williams was in the audience so they shouldn't use their best material so that he can't steal it. One comic threatened to punch him if he heard Williams using yet another one of his jokes.

But since once he became a movie star he didn't have to rely on stand up anymore those comments mostly faded away.

  10. I thought that was Ned Mencia.
    Or Denis Leary.
    Or...
