For some reason this sounded like a fun thing to do. I'm going to upload screenshots from various blu-ray movies. Besides just being something neat to look at, this can be a good way to evaluate the picture quality on any given blu-ray movie. As I'm sure a lot of you guys know, not all transfers are created equal. This eliminates all of the variables you encounter when randomly searching for a screen capture on the internet.
I'll break down the parameters, then I'll post a few to start the thread off. I'll be posting twenty shots from each movie I do, including a title screen when applicable. Later on I'll use this first post for an index with links to each title. Well, if I ever get that far. I'm going to try to add 1-2 each week.
These are direct captures using a Samsung PC Blu-Ray drive. AnyDVD HD is used for bypassing copy protection, VLC Media Player is used to capture the frames, and GIMP is used to scale them (applicable only to the 720p .zip files). These are completely uncompressed PNG files without any sort of custom color profile, post-processing, etc. I'm shooting for 100% accuracy here.

1080p pls, screw readability!
More accurately, screw anyone without a 1080p+ monitor.

A high-quality jpeg at 1080p would be a more accurate representation than a scaled down PNG. Just saying...
Blu-Ray's pretty. I get it.

Gymkata: I mean look at da lil playah woblin his way into our hearts in the sig awwwwwww
Since, I have a 1080p monitor. I'd rather have a 1080p png file of Vexille.
Also use the attachment feature of the site.
