This weeks episode, "Monsters" was awesome! So many great moments. Major moves were made, Illithia is always more wicked and smart than I ever think she is. Looks like they're using a lot more practical blood than ever before, passed few episodes have had some really gory deaths. They love using that Phantom camera too.

I thought all the love scenes were ridiculous and forced. Wasn't impressed with the story and Asha is just a sideshow freak. I really hope this season is the last.

The show is definitely deteriorating. Hopefully, they wrap it up with this season.

It's just not the same, but it has improved a bit from the start of the season. Two episodes ago got a chuckle out of me when they used the cliched jaguar growl sound effect in a fight scene. Then this last week, my mind was blown. During a fight scene I was perplexed when i heard a distinct generic sci-fi door opening sound effect. I thought I was losing my mind.... Then later in the episode, during another fight, I heard it again. It doesn't make any sense.

I will watch the finale, but perhaps skip next year.

Man, a lot of people I thought for sure would make it out alive didn't! Liked it a lot, great way to bring all of the story threads to an end.

Series finale aired tonight and it was awesome, a fitting end to the show. Really great season, I enjoyed it a lot. In typical Spartacus fashion the political gears really dug in around episode 4 to push the season to the end in great form. Epic finale, a ridiculous amount of people were killed.

I enjoyed it as well. I would have really liked to see Spartacus see his wife in the afterlife for a brief moment but it was still a fitting end to the show. The credit roll showing all of the characters from the entire series reminded me of poor Andy Whitfield.
