Ep4 was pretty awesome. Spartacus seems to be improving, both in character and being a badass. Fuck Crixus. Spartacus is gonna fuck him up.

Ep5 was amazing. Hope Crixis is alright. He actually wasn't such an asshole and made me like him a bit.

Saw the first 4 episodes. I really enjoyed it. Good show, but some of the special effects aren't so special, mostly the CG set/background.

This show takes an amazing upturn in episode 2. They noticeably toned down the annoying fake blood effect and are developing Spartacus as a great fighter. The last fight with The Shadow was great. Although I don't know how he managed to not die sooner. The black guy that trains them seems much more adept in the arena yet The Shadow managed to almost kill him and 99 other guys? It will be interesting to see how Spartacus is treated now. I like the subtle touch of the supernatural they add in to the series (through storytelling and the gods).
