Saw it this morning, it was pretty whatever.
When you have a 40 minute chase scene to basically start the movie it gets kind of, boring. Something is lost when a song is only a guitar solo.
Skeptical.
I won't deconstruct bit by bit why it was such a bad movie, because the consensus is against me here. Acknowledge that I really wanted to like it though. I have this grudging respect for the movies Reeves has been involved in lately. They're earnest, and might end up misguided like 57 Ronin, or really awesome like Man of Tai Chi, but at least he's working on stuff he seems to personally find cool.

One of the best movies ever, Death Proof, is pretty much just a car chase.
Death Proof was an hour of coffee talk and half an hour of car chase.
Can you dig it?
This. It's mostly comprised of mindless, witless, vapid table chatter and one half-way decent car chase. Death Proof is a terrible, boring movie.
