We all do from time to time.

  2. What, are you going to not move a dead body? That's a fool's gambit.

I can also get a queen size mattress from the bedroom to the car by myself, but it's like pulling a dead body around, flopping up against walls and needing to be drug around on the ground, and I sure as hell can't get it into my car. You need a van or a box truck or similar to move that shit in.
I'm in a college town in the south. There is no shortage of extra people and trucks.

I get more bitching over moving boxes of books than I do mattresses.

  5. My first bit of advice is that you fix the fucking thread title to not make people think you're a retard.

Last time I moved, we had a queen size bed that needed to be moved to the third floor. We got the mattress up fine, but the box spring wouldn't fit up the stair-well. Eventually, out of ideas, a friend of mine and me decided our best bet was to shove as hard as we could and we eventually got it up the stair-well, after making a huge fucking hole in the wall when it sprung free. Just get something that you feel will be comfortable. An uncomfortable sleeping arrangement can really fuck up your sleep schedule.

  8. Sleep number ftw. Its just a glorified air mattress really, but it does come with a nice memory foam pad. And it folds up nicely for moving. I like it because I normally like to sleep on a softer mattress, but sometimes my back needs something firmer. If you can afford it, give it a try.
To understand man, walk it shoe on other foots.
