    I just want a Microsoft and Apple-less Steam. Linux is just all that's left essentially. Imagine Linux Steam running on a PS3.

  7. Considering that Linux on the PS3 doesn't give you full access to the hardware, Linux Steam on PS3 would lead to a lot of games running like shit.

    Thanks. I was going for irony not realism. Picture a Wii version of reality for example.

  9. This isn't so much about OSX becoming a viable alternative as it is about Steam utterly dominating the mac gaming market. Publishing overpriced ports of year-old windows games is about to get a whole lot less profitable for the usual gougers.

  10. It'd be nice if they refused to allow publishers to put Cider "ports" on Steam. I doubt that'll be the case but that practice really needs to die out. At least companies like Valve, Telltale and Blizzard are all about doing Mac versions right.
