Thread: Official MLB 2010 Regular Season Thread

  1. OK so I was somewhat close. Romero pitches a shutout against the Rangers in a 6-0 win. Shit, can we play the Rangers all year?

  2. Another day another rant. Mets are so bad now. Fuck John Maine and Loliver Perez. I don't want to see either of them again. Francoeur is taking today off because he sucks and stupid Jerry Manuel is putting Chris Carter in the cleanup spot today. wow.. from AAA to Mets cleanup hitter in a week! Go get 'em Animal!

I think its getting close to doomsday for Manuel and Omar. At least for Jerry anyways.

  3. UGH. This team is amateur hour. They are playing like sloppy vaginas.

edit. HOLY SHIT. Blow this fucking team up.

edit2: and now Niese is out.

  4. So, Cliff Lee hasn't given up an unearned run I don't think. He's 1-2 with a 2.08 ERA in the AL. His no-decision was an 8 IP, 0.00 ERA debut in which the Mariners scored zero runs.

Mariners are the shittiest offensive team ever.

  5. My Redlegs are in first place!

The first 2 games of the series were both really close but the Reds beat up on Penny today.

  6. Jays get another win. Bautista has been hitting the roids or something because it's 3 homers in 2 games for him. Morrow recovered from his past outing to give a solid start, and both Alex Gonzalez 2.0 and John Buck continue to be pleasant suprises.

I expect a no hitter tomorrow, with a final score of half a run to nothing.

Also for Jays fans, all games as of now will be carried by Rogers Sportsnet, TSN selling the rights to their 25 today in exchange for Sunday Night Baseball simulcasting rights and a prospect to be named later.
And those Sunday Night Baseball games are on TSN2. There goes my Sunday tradition.

  8. listen on the Fan?

Preferred to watch for some reason. Veg out on the couch and watch either an epic Yankees/Sox marathon or see what the Senior Circuit was up to. I may need to get a sports package.

  10. Well, the Jays are 23-16 on the season. It was about this time last year the wheels fell off.

    *waits*
