After slogging through the Marine campaign, I thought the Alien and Predator campaigns were leagues worse and relied on control schemes that were tedious instead of intuitive.
It seems like a match made in heaven. Aliens are vicious bugs that breed in the darkest corners of the universe, Predators are hunters that love tracking down the most dangerous prey imaginable, and humans get caught in the middle. The results should be ugly, horrifying, and a total blast to play through, and they have been before. So why does Aliens vs Predator feel so flat and lifeless? Several reasons, actually, although all the explanations in the world won't lessen the disappointment.

How much would you pay for this? Worth it for $20? $15? Less?

Based on the demo, I never want to play the demo again. So, zero minus time spent.
So I picked this up for $5. Good price!
The main problem is that it's not a run and gun in the least, despite running and gunning being key components. Every Marine encounter with an Alien in single player so far consists of: Block, Hit, Shoot. Feels counter-intuitive. The start of the game is pretty scary! Everything seems like it can kill you. Playing on hard, everything CAN kill you. It's slowly turning into a Punch Out FPS.
The shitty melee system ruined this one for me.
Shame, because the graphics and atmosphere were pretty good.
It's really weird to see an Alien blocking.
The Cine-Kills feel worthless for Aliens and Predators, in that you are left waaaay open the whole time. The conga-line effect is for real.

I forgot about the conga line "execution" kills. Total garbage. The multiplayer was so ruined in this game.
Hard to believe this was the same company that made the awesome AvP1 on the PC.
