I didn't realize Bulletstorm was going to be $60 on PC. Oh well, I'll play it when it drops to something a bit more reasonable, and Cave isn't tying up my gaming cash.

Had no real interest of getting this game, but got to play it a bit at work tonight (nobody showed except 4 people right at 12). I had trade credit that payed it all off and have been in need of something else to play until I move, so I decided to go ahead and grab it. Any word on when the Gears beta is supposed to start?

Campaign is pretty incredible so far. They really did a great job with this game. Played a little of the MP as well. It's pretty much Horde and whatever the horde like mode in ODST is, but it requires you to use skill shots to rack up a certain amount of points to clear each wave. Also requires a good bit of team based skill shots to beat the harder waves. I jumped into a match at wave 9, and while killing everything was a piece of cake, we couldn't get enough points to actually clear the wave. Might (will) be better with friends. Sadly I close tomorrow, so I won't be on until around 10 central.

Also, if you are planning to take part in the Gears 3 beta, you need to hold onto the disc. Like the Halo 3 beta from Crackdown, it adds an option in the main menu for whenever the beta actually starts. Supposedly there will be more information on that later this week or the next.

My only complaint so far is it would be incredible if this game had a co-op campaign.

I can't wait to give this one a shot outside of the demo, which I enjoyed. Probably gunna have to wait for a while though as funds are super tight, and I have 0 interest in the Gears beta. Game seems really fun though.
