I have more trouble on the right side too but, everything in marvel games is so easy it's rarely if ever my stick habits that hold me back.
Seriously though I do think the right side is more difficult. It's even harder for you though because you are trying to take every character to tournament level.

I like to have an answer to everything.
Phoenix -> Trap -> Teleport is your answer to everything.

I do that. I still don't play Phoenix. Not having access to my supers is annoying. I'll still rock Spencer.
I just started DHC-tricking from Bionic Maneuvers into Akuma's beam. Feels good man.
That works as DHC? Are you sure? I thought the super background has to be gone before it works. Anyway, I do it into Wesker's counter super and do a DF+H, s. A, s. B, s. C, S, into his schtick. sometimes I'll get fancy and throw in some palms to make sure I get over 1.1 million damage.
Yeah, i was always doing it accidentally but if you miss them and they fall back into the super it totally resets the damage.
It's really not anywhere near as useful as the combo extenders but it's extra damage plus if I DHC again into Sphere Flame it's a dead character for three meters.
Just tested it. Only does about 80-100k extra, but hey, every little bit counts.
Actually now I'm not sure. Would the latter hits of Akuma's beam just do more damage than the earlier ones? Seems like a reset in scaling would net more than 100k.

I never heard of it working after the DHC connects unless it's not a part of the body like Sent's HSF or Trish's Harvest shit.
