I was trying to learn stick today and then when my wife went to sleep she comes back in the living room, "Uhh, do you have to hit the buttons so hard?" Ah shit - I'm a slapper, I swing the stick all around and smack the buttons with some violence. So I switched to the 360 pad and then you messaged me - I've literally never used that pad for a fighter before. I was dropping everything I can actually do! That's no excuse though, you're much better than me - but I'm learning. It was lulz when you beat me with my own team. I'm trying to learn the assist mix-up game. It's basically just throw one out and mirage feint with X23 and hope the opponent doesn't catch you in the hop.

And I've only got the one combo with Spencer. I need to get some shit down with him before I embarrass myself at the tournament I'm playing in.

I main Spencer, even run him on point, but I have more combos with Wesker and Taskmaster than I do with him. Anyway, I dropped tons of combos when I played with a serious team. I blame most of it on lag but human error should be taken into account. Anyway, your team doesn't have assists to really "throw out" as much as you think it does. Ammy's Shooting Star is slow to start revving up and leaves her vulnerable for a very long time. I use it mostly to lock someone down during a blocked combo or an OTG. Spencer's Armor Piercer is pretty useless, imo, with that team. He's an assist you can only really use in combos no matter which one you choose. I have an idea for a combo that can lead to the DHC glitch with Ammy using his grapple to set up X-23's cinematic super but I've yet to really try to create it.

I've been playing Hulk / Doom / Haggar with Hulk on point. I feel kinda retarded having both Hulk and Haggar on the team but Haggar's lariat is an awesome assist and his pipe is fucking crazy. Lariat combined Hulks armour on his normals can completely stop rushdown teams (that don't have Zero fml). Doom rocks gives hulk a bunch of new options, and apparently you can also use it for resets and shit that I'm not good enough to pull off yet (this is my first time trying to learn a vs game properly). Still, I feel like something is missing and that there is probably a character worth throwing on the team that can be as good as Haggar or Doom but provide some better mobility or something. Any suggestions?

with she-hulk you at least need to know combos and resets and that aerial combo glitch, and you need to know tron combos outside of jumping h... with wolvie though it's day 1 training mode combos with level 1 x-factor all day erry day

She Hulk is super easy to learn, just hard to get right. The exchange glitch is DUMB easy to do, all it is is S, sj. H, wait a sec, down + H and either the up or down exchange. You will hit the ground and follow up with a c. A, c. B, S. Honestly it isn't that hard. Her resets are also barely necessary since DHC can kill or severely incapacitate a character. Using her stun grab is the hardest thing to do with her but it becomes second nature once you learn how to fake out block strings and frame traps. Tron is just terrible but good players make her look like a contender. She's got no true way to open an opponent up. Using a character that can only capitalize on mistakes is not very ideal.

Wolverine may be easy but he's effective.
