Probably meaningless, but who knows? Many repeats.

You REALLY still believe there's any chance in hell that this game will even approach 50 characters?
I mean... REALLY?
You're not getting 56 characters. Get over it. Fucking hell.
LOL@that edit.
Also, why even bother whining about the developers decisions regarding the characters when you know damn well that pretty much everything that is considered "high end" MvC2 play was completely unintentional?

I hope to hell at the very least they won't cut the characters that made MvC2 so good. And yes, I'm holding out hope. More characters = better fighting game generally speaking.
Who cares whether shit in 2 was intentional or not. If you get lucky and hit pay dirt like Capcom did with 2 they'd be stupid as fuck to mess with it as badly as they are. They should have paid attention to how Namco pile drove the Soul Calibur series into the dirt by fucking with SC2's excellence. MvC2 was/is a big, very big deal with me and to see them do what they're doing makes me concerned as a fan.

I don't think for a minute they won't have War Machine in there. He's pretty popular lately.
Bojack might be talking out of his ass, but he's ENTHUSIASTIC. Which should be commended!
I just think that every die-hard MvC2 fan should understand that the game they got was a result of the developers not giving a flying fuck about the game, and that if the new developers were to somehow attempt to translate that gameplay into this brand new game that's being built from the ground up, it would inevitably be really fucking awful and SO much more disappointing than what we're seeing right now.
FirstBlood is right. MvC2 was lightning in a bottle. You can't do things the same way and expect to catch it again.
