Still not seeing the problem here. Platformers work great on handhelds. What's the deal? I am more likely to play it on ds/psp than on the 360 via XBLA...

You seem confused. I agree that there is no problem with a platformer on a portable. That's not what this is. This is a DS game screen shrunk to a ludicrous tiny size to show entire levels in 1080p on XBLA.


Is anybody else peeved that this game has a name that is way too similar to "Harmony of Dissonance"? It's like making a game for Sony's download service and naming it "Castlevania: Perfect Symphony of the Night"

They should have named this one "Castlevania: Xylophone Band of Loving Audacity" to avoid confusion with the GBA title.

"Castlevania: Disco of Servitude" is obviously a portable Metroidvania.

"Castlevania: Portamento of Somali Pirates" is a return to traditional side scrolling action rendered with the worst 2.5D graphics ever seen by man.

"Castlevania: Waltz Into Insanity" is a collection of mini games starring Simon, Dracula, Mario, and Sonic.

"Castlevania: Melody of Damnation" is a sequel to Castlevania Bloodlines.

"Castlevania: Nocturne of Gravitas" is on a 700-Meg cartridge which burns a $400 hole in your pocket, but could appreciate greatly in value. The CD version "Castlevania: Nocturne of Gravitas ~ Chorus of Doom" costs about 1/8 of that. The graphics shame even the almighty Metal Slug 3.

"Castlevania: Chorale of Perdition & Three Sorrows" is the amazing 2D platformer we should have had on the Street Fighter III hardware.
