There is no way I could start again from scratch, I have put EMBARRASSING hours into this game getting every single fucking drop that exists... and I'm still missing a handful of items. Seriously 100+ hours on Soma alone.

Such a great idea to give Hard Mode The Count not only new items along with Dracula's loot table, but REGULAR Dracula's loot table, at the end of the longest level in video game history. Even with the crazy hack shortcut. Fuck that game.

This statement makes no sense.

There is absolutely nothing memorable about the Alucard character in CIII. He's basically a mini sprite rip of the original first form of the OG Castlevania final boss. That's it. If the character design in SOTN weren't done by a woman I suspect you wouldn't have given this a second thought.
