I just wish fighting humans wasn't so shitty and boring in it. They're SO MUCH of that game.
I finished Lost Planet again the other day. I also played through the first level on Extreme difficulty. It actually wasn't as hard as I was expecting. But then again, that was only the first level. The T-Eng sure drops fast, though.

I picked it up from someone on Craig's about a week ago and have been playing non-stop. I haven't been this addicted to a co-op game since Diablo. I can understand where the criticism is coming from, but this is a fantastic game. And yes, I have played through parts of the Gears of War games. Maybe it's because I'm late to current gen (picked up a PS3 3 weeks ago) and have not been spoiled by the more recent offerings in the 3rd person shooter genre. The hit stuns, knock backs, and restrictive control schemes (though, B4 is basically how I would set up a customizable config) just don't bother me. I find the versus multiplayer equally competent.
My only complaints are the inability to jump in and out of ongoing sessions (seriously, WTF?) and the horrible imbalance unlockable weapons/items causes in online versus battles (though, this can be restricted through custom match creation settings). Oh, and the lack of LAN or System link in the PS3 version has me scratching my head.
The difficulty argument I just don't get. I have no trouble jumping into random missions and chapters and completing them by myself without bots enabled.
Amazing game, great animation, i planned to buy this soon, really great game. i am crazy about this game.
After you're out of debt, right?
So this game is $5 on Live, anyone down to play this on co-op as of late?
That needs a proud smiley, not a sad one:
