Aren't you old enough and informed enough about video games to make up your own mind? Even at 12 years-old I didn't have to ask anyone what games or systems I should buy.

I have all three systems, and although I probably have more fun on the Wii, it does lay dormant for months at a time with only getting 2 or so decent games a year. If I had to choose only one system it would be the 360, but that pains me to say since the ps3 has some awesome exclusives, but XBLA > PSN by a long shot.

Really need to know more about primary gaming habits to make a decent recommendation: genre interest, have more money than time or more time than money, will you make the time to steal, frequency of purchases, AAA new release player or budget player, leaderboard chaser, play shit to completion or get to stage 3 then abandon, all that stuff.

This. Also I can't imagine being completely happy with only 1 system out of any of them. They all have holes in their offerings.

If you can only get one then honestly just look at the list of games available on all 3 and buy the one with the most games you want to play on it.

Sounds like PC gaming is the best route if you're picking one. It's the way to go for retro games and it usually has the best versions of modern multi-format games.

I think you can't go wrong with either the 360 or PS3. I just wish MS would include the wifi in the system. Without internal wifi or blu-ray in the 360, the PS3 is a better deal for a comparable hard drive. I'm not happy that my PS3 Slim doesn't have B/C but I have a PSTwo hooked up with wireless controllers and I deal.

The Wii is a fantastic system at $199 with bundled motionplus (especially in black IMO). If you have a girlfriend/wife/friends who love to play it, it deserves consideration. I can attest from personal experience that Wii Sports is a blast with a bunch of friends and a big bottle of Captain Morgan 100 Proof. Still, I can't imagine the Wii being the only system for any TNLer.

Get a PS3 and then complement it with a PC. The PS3 has the most true exclusives, while most (but not quite all) 360 games unavailable on PS3 do have PC ports.
