get whatever system you think has the best exclusives. Also take into account what system most of your friends use, cause online is a big part of gaming these days (and I have to say that XBL is hands down better than PSN in a lot of ways). But the most important thing, again, is exclusives.
Also, if you don't play more than two games a year the wii will still be in the running, if you play three or more games a year it's not worth your time. Including accessories it's basically the same price as a 360

The Wii is the best, but you should get what you want.
I think it all depends on how much your social world revolves around or involves games. If heavy socializing/gaming in groups is your thing, the 360 is a no-brainer. If you don't mind the lack of crowds, like free online, and like to game on big games, on your own more often than not, get a PS3. If gaming is something you do with people you know, or on your own but not in a serious-business manner, the Wii works just fine.

Sounds like you want a Wii. There are some fun games on it. This gen is pretty lame. Just wait it out and save up for a moped instead.
